I know Collete's is more known for its buko pie..so i was pleasantly surprised at this pasalubong to us from a good friend, nice packaging!!..tastes good too..congrats Colette's and thanks for a delicious cassava cake..

Delifrance's Shrimp Salad and Premium Clubhouse

Tried my new Tamron 24-135mm zoom on Delifrance's new Spring Salad and Premium Clubhouse Sandwich..

The salad is healthy, with shrimp, vegetables, seafood, pasta with olive oil and pesto..
The sandwch was classic, ham, egg, cheese, tomatoes, lettuce..
Nice and delicious only from Delifrance..

father's day meryenda

Hmmm its fathers day, what shall we have for meryenda?

its so humid today.. aha! A cold and refreshing halohalo from Chowking..with some siopao and pancit canton meryenda size..

Couldn't take a pic of the halo halo special with ice cream, twas melted na..the delivery was quick, even faster that the 30-45 mins as i was told..i think it was CK Aurora arcade store who delivered, good job!...

To all Dads hope you had a happy fathers day too..

Pardon the shaky spoon, not that happy with it :).. its real name is Mais con Hielo..or Corn on Ice..played with the yellow hence the title hehe..

its an iced dessert from the Philippines..Sweet yellow corn on crushed ice with milk and sugar..Oh and cornflakes on top..

Met a good friend Red P. at Cafe Breton last february in Westgate Filinvest Alabang for some coffee and shoot food..

This is my order, Cheese, Ham and Tomato Crepe... looks too good to eat..so i just shot it and took it home hehe

Greenwich Pizza and Nachoritos

As per special request by Mam Marj an officemate, im blogging some GW products..

Here we have as delivered some nachoritos and breadstick..as side dishes and some pizza and Pearl coolers, (not shown chicken and Lasagna)

Delivery call center service was prompt and courteous..only 2 rings and my call was picked up..Order taker was knowledgable of the products and promos..she patiently answered my queries about old products..

After 10 mins there was a confirmation call from the delivery store, GW Metropolis Alabang..Delivery was on target..within 45 mins..
Food was hot and fresh..
Comments:
1) Lasagna was swimming in cream cheese..too much for my taste, not photogenic..
2) Nachos was kinda soggy na, maybe this shoudnt be for delivery..
3) Pizza was everything on it, but i think it still lacked toppings.
4) Pearl coolers was just right..perfect..
5) Chicken was ok..

All in all it was a 7..:)

Got my new nokia N73 Music Edition, got it frm my retention plan from Smart Philippines..and m trying out its blog features :) its got a superb 3.2 MP camera, 2GB SD mem card, and direct blogging to Flickr as what you see here..Cool!

After 1 week of waiting, at last i got my issue #12, the 1st year anniv of Digital Photographer magazine Philippines..After searching here in Alabang, National BS, Bufini, Binondo, to no avail..Finally found 1 at Filbars in Festival Mall

Besides great articles, tips, reviews, they also had my forum comment published on page12, how i store my digital photos..Get your issue now guys..

Earles deli is a small delicatessen at South Supermarket in Filinvest Corporate City..they make great sandwiches yummy..tried this Black Forest Ham on Multigrain Bread which really tasted delicious..

Taho is another filipino favourite..who can forget the incessant calling of the mangtataho (taho vendor) during breakfast time..
Tahoooo!
Its made of soya bean curd, sago balls and molasses..great for breakfast, lots of protein without the fat..

Ukoy

Cooked some Ukoy the other day, its a Filipino favorite..
For me, Binan in Laguna, southern Philippines makes some of the tastiest street ukoys..

Its made of eggs, flour, ground pork, lots of garlic, onions, mongo sprouts, instead of shrimp i used chopped squidballs..and of course salt and pepper..

Seen here with garlic rice and Achara another filipino favorite, pickled papaya, sugar, vinegar and hot chili..

Lighted with a single 22w spiral daylght CFL with a diffused dish reflector placed at the back, above and to the right of the plate..2 foamboards in front both sides of the camera were used to light up the shadows in front..
